AS09 NMEA 2000 Rudder Feedback Sensor

The AS09 is a Rudder Feedback Sensor designed for seamless integration into an existing NMEA 2000 network using the included 5-meter drop cable.

 

This sensor converts the rudder’s angular movement into a digital signal, which is then transmitted across the NMEA 2000 network. The data provided by the AS09 can be utilized by autopilot systems, chart plotters, and multi-function displays (MFDs) to enhance navigation and control.

 

Hosting a powerful ±70° measurement range with a precision of ±0.5° the AS09 is an essential piece of equipment to aid in smoother sailing, precise movements and to prevent over-compensation when manoeuvring.

 

The AS09 has been tested and designed for use within harsh marine environments, to enable the sailor to navigate the waters safe in the knowledge that the AS09 will keep you in control.
